In recent years, ice fishing for Whitefish has become one of the most sought after fisheries on the Bay of Green Bay and are well known for their delectable table fair. These fish make their appearance on several restaurants menus and are the main attraction for many of the famous "fish boils" of the area. During the cold winter months, whitefish are found throughout Green Bay searching for their favorite foods such as tiny shrimp, gobies, crustaceans, snails, insects, and my favorite, the jig and waxie! LOL! Perch is another species that I target through the hard water. In my opinion, they are one of the greatest tasting fish around. Well known as a "Friday night" tradition, many a Perch have found their final resting place on the plates of numerous bars and restaurants in the area. Catching these tasty Panfish can be just as enjoyable as eating them! Last but definitely not least are the "Green Bay Gold" otherwise known as the Walleye. Not even my warmest shack can heat as much as the thrill of pulling a giant up through a hole in the ice! Marking these fish on the electronics and coaxing a bite can be more exhilarating than the most popular video game out there! No matter what were targeting for the day, you'll be the winner of the game all from the most accommodating and safety conscience service around!
